Formerly a co-director of north-east agency RDW Advertising, Paul now works as a freelance graphic designer and sports photographer. He has over twenty-five years experience in advertising and graphics, working on a number of ‘blue-chip’ accounts with many of the north-east’s top advertising and commercial photographers. Since 'going freelance' in 2005, he has built up a catalogue of his own photographic images, including depictions of his native north-east landscape, travel images from the rest of the UK and Europe, concerts and sporting events. A keen (amateur) sportsman, Paul now shoots a variety of sports on a regular basis for regional and national publications, including football at Middlesbrough, Durham City and Northallerton Town, cricket for the NYSD and Langbaurgh Leagues and basketball for Middlesbrough Lions. Paul holds a Newspaper Society Press Card and has public liability insurance cover. He has also had CRB checks done for the FA and for the NYSD and Langbaugh cricket leagues. His photographs are available as stock for hire by publishers, advertising agencies and printers, and have been used in a wide variety of media including websites, magazines, calendars, books and press.
